Insurance, Rates, and Policies

  • My session rates are $225 for assessment sessions (we’ll begin with 2 of these sessions) and $200 for each 50-minute ongoing therapy session.

Payment of copay, coinsurance, or full session fee is due at the time of service. I accept Zelle, all major credit cards, and FSA cards as forms of payment.

  • I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Choice PPO insurance plans.

If you do not have or use insurance, or have an insurance plan other than what is listed above, feel free to inquire about my sliding scale availability and rates.

New clients receive an estimate of benefits prior to their first appointment. This is provided as a courtesy and is not a guarantee of payment. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the expected cost of any non-emergency items or services under the federal No Surprises Law. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give uninsured or self-pay clients an estimate of the total cost of recommended items or services in writing at least 1 business day before they are rendered. The purpose of the Good Faith Estimate requirement is to give individuals an opportunity to use the information to evaluate their healthcare options, manage care costs, and prevent surprise billing.

You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For questions about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • In the event you are unable to attend our session, you are welcome to communicate the cancellation in-session or in writing 24 hours beforehand. If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours advance notice, or if a session is missed without notice, you may be charged a $50 late cancellation fee.
